INQUIRER: Police this morning identified a 37-year-old car wash employee who was fatally shot at work in North Philadelphia yesterday afternoon. Fassara Kouyate, of the 200 block of Birch Street in Kensington, was shot at 4:47 p.m. near the intersection of Broad Street and Lehigh Avenue, police said. He was taken to Temple University Hospital and pronounced dead at 5:20 p.m. No arrests were reported.

INQUIRER: One man was killed last night and another man injured in an East Germantown shooting, police said. The slaying marks the 148th homicide in Philadelphia this year. There were 182 murders last year to date. Last night, officers responded to the 2100 block of Godfrey Avenue at 10:16 p.m. and found Jerrett Washington, 22, with a gunshot wound to the back. PHILLY.COM: An 18-year-old man was shot in the back at 4:19 p.m., less than a half-hour after his graduation from Strawberry Mansion High School, authorities said. The shooting took place in the 1700 block of North Broad Street, where the high school’s commencement ceremony at Temple University’s Liacouras Center ended at 3:55 p.m. The man, whom police would not identify, is in critical condition at Temple University Hospital.

Someone fired into a crowd of people from an alley across the street around 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Officer Tanya Little said. All four victims were taken to a hospital in private vehicles. INQUIRER: A pregnant Germantown woman who was shot in the head Sunday night died early this morning at Albert Einstein Medical Center, police said. Bobbi Booker, 26, was shot in her left temple as her live-in boyfriend exchanged gunfire with another man outside the couple’s Queen Lane apartment in Germantown. Booker, who was four-months pregnant, had been on life-support since the shooting. Doctors were not able to save her four-month old unborn child, police said. Booker had two other young children. INQUIRER: Police this morning identified a 29-year-old man who was shot to death in Southwest Philadelphia yesterday. Sokoni Meachum was found lying on the sidewalk with several gunshot wounds to the chest in the 2500 block of South 66th Street shortly before 6 p.m., police said. Meachum, of the 2500 block of South Shields Street, was transported to the Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania and pronounced dead at 6:23 p.m. No arrests were reported.
