We talk with them about how they have achieved success despite enormous obstacles.

Presidential historian ROBERT DALLEK‘s new book “Nixon and Kissenger: Partners in Power” explore the complicated relationship between Nixon and his national security adviser and secretary of state Henry Kissinger. Together, during the tumultuous Watergate era, the pair oversaw U.S. foreign policy including the opening to China, relations with the Soviet Union, diplomacy in the Middle East, and the Vietnam negotiations.
THE WORLD CAFE
Singer-songwriter Keren Ann joins host David Dye on the World Cafe, performing songs from her eponymous new release. In sync with her multinational background, the album was pieced together from studio recordings made across the globe in places as diverse as Iceland, Israel, and the U.S. The English-language disc features fuzzed-out guitars, cellos and hand-clapping.
