She was previously Midday Host and Music Director for KEZE 96.9 FM and Afternoon Host at KZZU 92.9 FM, both in Spokane, Washington. She began her radio career in Boston, where she graduated from Emerson College and was Morning Host at WERS 88.9, and later held on-air shifts at WBOS 92.9 FM.”As one who was raised on Philadelphia radio, returning to the area via 88.5 brings my life and career full circle. I am ecstatic, proud, and honored to be joining the prestigious staff at WXPN,” said Kurtis. In addition to on-air and programming expertise, Kurtis also brings to WXPN her skills in digital media, and experience in improv, sketch and stand-up comedy.
