PHILADELPHIA – Sen. Barack Obama will barnstorm the city of Philadelphia on Saturday, making four stops within the city. At each stop, Sen. Obama will discuss his plans to strengthen our economy, lower taxes on Pennsylvania’s middle class families and give tax breaks to companies that create jobs in the United States. The trip comes just days after Pennsylvania’s voter registration deadline, completing a three-month effort by Obama-Biden organizers that saw the gap between registered Democrats and Republicans grow to nearly 1.2 million. The campaign now turns its attention to generating volunteers for what will be an unprecedented Get-Out-The-Vote effort. Details after the jump…

Obama Spokesman Spanks Hannity Hard On Ayers And Anti-Semitism
HUFFPO: Well, finally, [Obama Campaign Spokesman Robert] Gibbs decided he just wasn’t having any more of it, and in precisely the sort of parry that one wanted to see turned the guilt-by-association game on Hannity, asking him, “Are you anti-Semitic?” Soon, the conversation was a mess of yelling and crosstalk, with Gibbs loudly asking why Hannity would give a hatemonger a primo forum, and Hannity responding, “BENJAMIN NETANYAHU BLURBED MY BOOK! YAAHHHH! LOUD NOISES!” Why’d he ask that? Oh, because Sean Hannity built an entire smear-job “news” program around the lunatic ravings of an anti-Semitic loon named Andy Martin. He’s not the only man of that ilk that Hannity pals around with, either. Hannity protested that he’s a friend of Israel, and that it’s important for Fox News to respect the viewpoints of crackpots like Martin. MORE

NY DAILY NEWS: Sean Hannity, who recently signed a $20 million-a-year deal to do his radio show, has also signed a new contract to keep him at the Fox News Channel. The network is expected to announce soon a new multiyear, multimillion-dollar contract that is believed to keep Hannity tied to the top-rated cable news network through the 2012 election cycle. MORE
NEW YORK TIMES: On Wednesday, Cindy McCain, Mr. McCain’s wife, joined in the attacks, too, and in a departure from her normally mild public remarks told the crowd at Lehigh that Mr. Obama did not understand what it meant to have a son serving in Iraq, as she has had. “The day that Senator Obama decided to cast a vote to not fund my son while he was serving sent a cold chill through my body, let me tell you,” Mrs. McCain said. “I would suggest that Senator Obama change shoes with me for just one day.” Mrs. McCain was referring to a vote against troop financing that Mr. Obama cast in 2007 because the legislation did not include a timetable for withdrawal; Mr. Obama has voted for all other war-spending bills since he entered the Senate in 2005. MORE
THE TRUTH: Both McCain and Obama have opposed Senate measures with troop funding attached. Obama voted against a troop-funding bill in May 2007 because it did not contain language calling for a timetable for withdrawal from Iraq. McCain opposed, but did not vote, on a troop-funding measure earlier that year that did call for a withdrawal timeline, a position with which he vigorously disagrees. MORE
