William Gibson – Spook Country

Few authors can be credited with birthing a genre, but with his science fiction novel Neuromancer, William Gibson created “cyberpunk.” Gibson says his new novel “is set ‘in the same universe,’ as Pattern Recognition… It takes place during the spring of 2006. One of the viewpoint characters is a young Cuban-Chinese immigrant, Russian-speaking, whose relatives comprise one of the smallest, tightest organized-crime families in the United States.

With the Pythons, Palin became part of an international comedy phenomenon that spawned such glories as Monty Python’s Life of Brian, Monty Python and the Holy Grail,and “The Lumberjack Song.”
