DEVIL IN DELCO: It Just Gets Worse, If That’s Possible

By John Shiffman Inquirer Staff Writer A Drexel Hill woman charged last week with helping a Delaware County man tape pornographic movies of children also engaged in sex with at least onesexfiend.jpg child, a prosecutor said yesterday.

The new accusation against Dorothy Prawdzik, 43, alleges that she engaged in a sexual encounter that also involved a 39-year-old man and a young girl.

“The victim was approximately 10 years old at the time … when she was forced to participate in those sex acts,” Assistant U.S. Attorney Michelle T. Rotella said in a court filing yesterday.

The 39-year-old man is John Jackey Worman of Collingdale, the central figure accused in the sensational child-pornography case, which U.S. Attorney Patrick Meehan has called “the most horrific case” of child exploitation he has ever seen.

The FBI, which was brought into the case by local authorities, said it recovered from Worman’s computers 11,000 video clips of Worman having sex with children. The computers also contained more than 1.2 million other images, many of them pornographic. The victims ranged in age from 3 months to 15 years.
“Jackson permitted him to film the children in exchange for him paying the rent on their property,” Rotella said. The prosecutor said Jackson “admitted to permitting Worman to install the video camera.” Jackson, who advertised her babysitting services, “permitted Worman to take the female infants upstairs to their bedroom, where he would ‘care’ for the girls,” Rotella said. Investigators later said they found images of Worman having oral and vaginal sex with the infants, one as young as 3 months old.
